Garden Maintenance
Join us at our garden work parties (typically Wednesday and/or Saturday) from March to October. Tasks include weeding, pruning, planting, and other hands-on gardening activities. Volunteer as often as you’d like—weekly, bi-weekly, or occasionally. No experience is required, and training will be provided. Have fun while making a difference!
Garden Apprentice
Work alongside a Garden Coordinator to gain experience in plant selection and placement, water conservation techniques, and habitat creation for pollinators and wildlife. You’ll be part of a team, receiving training in sustainable gardening practices while contributing meaningfully to the garden’s health.
Garden Coordinator or Co-Coordinator
As a Garden Coordinator, you’ll lead a garden, overseeing design and maintenance to support biodiversity, water conservation, and wildlife habitats, all while following NatureScaping’s guidelines. You’ll mentor volunteers in garden care and assist with events and fundraisers to promote habitat conservation. This role requires a commitment of 3 hours per week for at least one year. Training and support will be provided.
Event Volunteer
Be part of the fun by volunteering at the various events through-out the year. These include the Plant Sale, Art in the Garden, Eco-Fair, Bird Festival, and other events as requested.
Special Projects
There are ongoing service projects for individuals, students and other groups interested in community service projects to maintain and improve the gardens.
